We’ve just returned from a magical week on the sleepiest of the Balearic islands, with our very first Wild Swim Menorca Crew! We were blessed with a lovely bunch of women to swim with, hot sunshine, almost no wind and 25 degree water temperatures, we couldn’t have asked for better for our first Menorcan retreat.

Let’s face it, we can’t surf every day of the year. Even living by coast, there’s days when the wind blows onshore or a summer flat spell sets in.
Luckily, there’s a solution to avoid saltwater withdrawal – swimming!
Swimming is a great way to spend time in the sea, whilst also keeping you fit for surfing! It can also serve as a saviour if you live far away from surfing beaches. You might find it becomes one of your favourite hobbies.

Quiet calas offer the perfect dipping spots with flat rocks for sunbathing and the welcome shade from fishermans huts. Crystal clear waters delivering every shade of teal and turquoise we could possibly imagine. Chasing sunrises and sunsets as we stroke through the water on distance swims, balearic beats drifting past us on the breeze.
