Newquay’s restaurant scene has exploded in last few years, leaving us spoilt for choice on where to eat. To make the most of your stay and explore what’s on offer we’ve included a range of our favourite spots to grab a bite in the evening (all tried and tested!).
Pizza Jockeys
Whilst Fore Street cafe serves your brunch needs during the day, by night it opens it’s doors as a pizzeria, serving sourdough based pizzas garnished with an array of toppings.

Newquay Street food on the Beach (The Harbour)
Going out as a group? Can’t decide amongst yourselves what to eat? The Newquay Harbour is a fantastic option. It has a range of independent food trucks with cuisines from around the world serving all things from locally sourced fish, to Thai Takeaway and Mexican tacos n’ tings (there’s even a waffle truck). It’s a cosy nook of Newquay to nestle into and view the expanses of ocean, from Newquay bay all the way to Trevose Lighthouse.

Rick Stein Fistral
If the stable doesn’t quite take your fancy but you still fancy sea views over Fistral Beach then Rick Steins fish and chips might just tickle your taste buds. Afterall, you are at the British seaside so Fish + Chips might be a tick off on your holiday checklist. Beware of the Seagulls, they are notorious over the summer season for stealing from unsuspecting beach goers.

Gilmores Mexican
Gillmore’s has always been a solid favourite with the local’s since it opened. Before Newquay’s cafe and bar scene exploded in the last few years, Gilmore’s was already providing us with delicious burritos, fully loaded fries balanced with a selection of fresh cocktails. Whilst waiting for food you can jump in on a round of mini golf!

Dough Selecta
Most Thursdays we head here for our Surf Sistas social. We’ve chosen Dough Selecta as aregular jaunts for its moorish pizza, good energy and equally delightful drinks menu. If you fancy heading up there early then you can book in for a sauna session at Water and Stone Wild Spa, located on the same site. (The do pizza and sauna deals!).

Babu
Prow Park, on Trellogan industrial Estate, has become a recent foodie destination spot. From all things brunch, to bakery and street food. We could exhaust this guide with all the places to eat but we suggest you explore the offerings at Prow Park yourself (see their website for full list of food options). One special mention go to Babu, as it offers something a little different. Their modern style kebabs are quite the contrast to the stereotypical connotations the word kebab is associated with. These are kebabs and wraps done right. We strongly advise pre-ordering through their website.
Best for: Takeaway street food, Modern Style Kebabs
Location: Prow Park Business Village, Tretherras, Newquay (Parking onsite)
