There’s a new spot in Newquay and we reckon it’s going to become a firm favourite! 10 Over Surf Shop just opened the doors to their new space at 11 Cliff Road, bringing together surfboards, surf essentials, coffee & cake, a barbers and some pretty spectacular views across the Bay. Whether you’re after some new surf kit, a post-surf coffee or just somewhere to hang out and watch the waves, it’s well worth popping in.
Fun fact – 10 Over founder Chris Thomson is a VERY old friend of Surf Sistas! We’ve been working with Chris for well over 20 years, going right back to the mid noughties when he was Surf Sistas’ very first overseas surf instructor, coaching on our trips to Portugal and Morocco. So it’s especially lovely to see him bring this vision to life right here in Newquay, Cornwall!

Having moved from its original home at Lanteague, this new iteration of 10 Over is much more than your average surf shop. Alongside a great selection of boards, wetsuits, clothing and surf essentials, there’s coffee from Foundation Roasters, beers from St Ives Brewery and even an in-house barbers! Chris and the team have plans for film screenings and events, making it a proper little hub for Newquay’s surf community.
We love supporting independent surf businesses and the people who make our local surf scene what it is, so we’re delighted to see 10 Over settling into its new home.
